Studio 6 Dallas, TX - Garland - Northeast

Overall, conditions are good. Walls can be a little thin and some of the paneling was peeling, but you generally felt safe there. More parking was needed and less fire alarms. The staff were all cordial and usually went out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. They let you go about your business without intruding too much into your personal affairs. Cleaning services were hit-or-miss (the beds were not always turned down and it depended on the maid how much cleaning was done). Laundry facilities and ice machine were always functioning. Wifi works, but you have to log back in repeatedly at inconsistent intervals. You cannot set a reservation in advance for this motel - you must come in-person day-of and have a $50 cash deposit with you (This is returned if you leave the room in functional condition). There are weekly and monthly rates which are roughly equivalent. Great conditions for the price and much better to the alternatives in the area!

I have known the owner and this staff for 17+ years. The staff including Patricia are polite and courteous and they do a wonderful job cleaning the rooms. The day time Manager and overnight Manager are polite, caring and considerate. When you stay here you have easy access to food, entertainment and within walking distance if the Dart Rail System. You can't go anywhere else in this area and pay such a low price for what this Hotel offers.

It was very clean, and nice for the price. The only complaint was the microwave is very small. The management requires a $50 cash deposit to cover the utensils, dishes etc. Kinda Strange The other thing is, they do not want you to have quests unless they check in thru the front office. No guests are allowed on property at night. I can understand, is strange tho. But the complex is clean, I felt safe and is very quiet. I stayed at a competitor for a week... they didn't offer utensils, no towel service etc. Suite 6 changes sheets once a week, empty trash and replace towels twice a week.

I’ve stayed at plenty of Motel6 and Stufio 6 in the past but this one by far is the BEST! It’s very clean and everything works great. The oven, microwave, the shower and even down to the shower drain function at a top level. I was expecting to be underwhelmed but this blew that out of the park. The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping are as nice as can be. I’ll put it another way. My neighbor Anthony has lived here 5 years because he enjoyed staying here also. I never write reviews but I felt like I should for this motel. I ended up staying here for about 5 months, and even though it isn't in the best location, the staff did a great job to make sure me, my roommate and her 3 year old were safe and are always watching the cameras they do not allow visitors. We were placed close to the office and felt safe here. They have room service twice a week one of the days they deep clean and the other is a quick clean. Compared to other motel 6 this one defiantly has good management and makes sure there are no weirdos walking around or basically anyone who doesn't stay there isn't allowed to be there. The staff treated us like family and once again they are always watching cameras and we felt very safe there even though it's in a bad part of town. The only downside which isn't their fault was the construction going on was super loud! So if you're looking for quiet and peace this isn't the best choice and i believe there is still contruction going on. But besides that, Keep up the good work! Weekly rate drops down I believe once you've been there a month. This was from dec2022-may2023.

Have stayed here numerous times in the last 2.5 years usually from 1-2 months at a time. I feel very safe and comfortable in this location. Management gets to know you and keeps an eye on the property and makes sure the place is secure. I tend to ask for the same room as I feel like I know my room. Room is clean and housekeeping does a good job during their twice weekly visits on long term stays. I always call direct to reserve my room and they always do a good job for my return. I prefer to stay here over other places and plan for my next visit in February.

It's located by a few restaurants and a few stores but the price of night is insane

I've been here several weeks now and feel SAFE! The rooms are spacious enough, I've got everything I need. The price is awesome! It's not the Ritz but clean and well cared for. The owners are friendly, helpful and don't allow any loitering. Did I say I feel SAFE! I can't stress that enough. The laundry area is clean with enough washers and dryers to go around. So if you are on a budget and want someplace clean and well cared for this is the place for you.
